Ok so maybe this has nothing to do with me and maybe I’m over reacting, my sister posted a picture of herself on Facebook (Facebook is gay..go Tumblr!) it was really pretty and such, I was about to click off and something caught my eye…my sisters boyfriend commented ‘I own this girl.’ Excuse me? OWN!? This little shit doesn’t own anybody, a relationship is about teamwork, communication, trust, friendship and certainly NOT ‘ownership of your partner’. I may see relationships differently than most people but I think saying you own someone is a little degrading. I think one should have mutual respect and equal rights with their partner and not treat their partner like an object.
Another thing that pisses me off about this kid is that he goes on about how she can’t talk to boys or anything (even if they are her friends) but he can txt and talk to many different girls as he wants?
This kid is a little player, but once girls find out how much of a loser he is that ‘playa attitude’ won’t get him shit!
I guess the point of this post is how pissed off I am for guys to still treat women like objects. All I ask for is respect and understanding as do most girls but it’s hard on me to see girls get treated so poorly, especially my sister.
I guess I’m just going to have to bite my tongue about this situation and hope for the better.
